This page says plainly what your plan covers, what it doesn't, and where the limits are. If anything here is unclear, call the office at 205-982-5196 and a person will explain it.
1. What every Shield plan covers
Service calls. Parts and labor are included on covered repairs to your underground fence system. You pay travel only, at the member rate of $1.75 per mile (standard rate is $2.25).
Parts credit. Once per plan year you receive store credit good for anything at dogfencehelp.com/store: batteries, straps, contact posts, comfort tips, and more. Shield members receive $40; Shield Complete members receive $75. Credit does not roll over between years.
Referral credit. $50 account credit for each new customer you refer who completes an installation.
Quarterly check-ins. Seasonal system health guidance by email, four times a year.
2. What Shield Complete adds
Annual member visit. Once per plan year, scheduled March through October: full diagnostic of your transmitter, wire loop, receiver and collar fit, fresh boundary flags placed, and a satellite-mapped report of your property emailed to you. Sold separately, this visit is $199.
Engraved Boomerang tag at enrollment, with your dog's name on the front and our phone number plus your member ID on the back.
Quarterly reminder texts for batteries and parts, with a direct link to the store and your credit.
3. Multi-year term benefits
Wire break repair (2-year and 3-year plans, both tiers). One wire break locate-and-repair included per plan year, normally $175 to $180. A second break in the same year, or a repair requiring extensive wire replacement, is quoted at standard rates before any work begins.
3-year plans: $25 off each additional-pet enrollment during the term.
4. Equipment and warranty fee discounts
Your Shield plan is a service plan. Equipment is covered separately by the manufacturer's warranty, including UltraCare lifetime coverage where applicable. When a receiver is replaced under warranty, the manufacturer charges a replacement fee (most commonly $75). Your plan discounts that fee as follows:

Discounts apply to receiver warranty replacement fees. Limit: one discounted replacement per pet, per plan term.
Transmitter replacement is not a plan benefit. Transmitter failures almost always result from a larger event such as a lightning strike involving the wire and surge protection. The labor on that service call is covered by your plan; equipment and out-of-warranty hardware are billed separately.
Out-of-warranty equipment purchases are not discounted under the plan, but plan labor coverage and the member travel rate still apply to the service call.

Plans renew at the end of each term. Renewal pricing may increase up to 5% per year. Multi-year prepay locks your rate for the full term.
You may cancel any time before renewal. Prepaid multi-year plans are honored through the end of the prepaid term.
Plan benefits apply to the enrolled system and pets at the enrolled service address.
